Unexpected

I received a message from someone today. Someone I thought I would never hear from today. It’s brought up all kinds of memories and emotions. It was a complicated situation, with disappointment and complicated emotions attached to it. I’m not sure how I feel, other than a little shocked and confused. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad thing, it’s just a weird thing. Even weirder since, after having a few people come back in to her life, a friend prayed for our girl’s bible study that this week would be one of re-connections and reunions if that was His will. And now this.

Interesting, to say the least. We shall see.

Memories and Music

Memories.
They’re weird.
I can be completely stopped in my tracks, physical or mental, by simply hearing the beginning of a song. It takes me straight back to the emotions connected to that song. Amazing how our brains work, don’t you think?
I’m slightly awestruck at the rush of visual memories and emotions sparked by the song that just came up on my Itunes.
